Public Note:
Anamorph only, dark spores on surface of wood. Pycnidia erumpent, styromatic, conidiogenous cells solitery, cylindric, braod conidiogenous locus; conidia 0-septate, cylindric, ends broadly rounded, wall sl punctate, about 20 x 9 µm, become dark brown as develop on c'genous cells; long, narrow-cylindric, paraphysis-like cells amongst the c'genous cells.
[PRJ July 08] LSU sequence matches Aplosporella sensu Damm et al. 2007 , as does the morphology.
